Let’s break down the reasons for turnkey new construction. First, what is turnkey new construction?
The word “Turnkey” is most commonly heard as a descriptive word interchangeably with “move-in ready”. The true meaning of “turnkey” are properties that a builder agrees to be financially and legally responsible for the design and construction work. “Turnkey” refers to a product that is sold as completed.
1. Built for Longevity
No major renovations demanded up front when purchasing a new build.
The construction industry is constantly evolving in regards to building standards, materials, building methods, architectural styles, and etc. Older homes may have used materials that were sometimes harmful, and additionally limited longevity.
New homes are built using tested materials that are safe, and estimated to last centuries. Concrete foundations, modern insulation, timber frames and tile floors can all last more than 100 years without needing to be replaced. Building codes have been updated over the years to protect the safety of homeowners.
2. Energy Efficiency
Modern built homes are built to be more energy efficient with many having built-in eco-friendly features like energy-efficient appliances, and integrated geothermal heating, better insulation, better sealed areas, windows, and doors.

Generally HOA’s maintain the common ground areas of the neighborhood.
5. Great Investment
Historically homes appreciate over time. Newer homes with the modern design, newer features, and the developed neighborhood will attract buyers. When you are ready to sell your home your property may be more attractive to buyers when your neighborhood is surrounded by the amenities mentioned above with location.
